We have been working with the Rottweilers for a few years now and have chosen this breed for their unique personality, eagerness to learn and lifelong loyalty. They are a very versatile breed, making a wonderful family pet but also a protector. They have great endurance as a jogging companion and make great weights for holding down your couch. We offer puppies on spay/neuter contracts at cheaper rates because a pet home is the best enviroment for any dog. And it is in the dogs best interest to be fixed usually leading to a longer, healthier life. In my experience the dog is easier to train and socializes better with other dogs or animals in general. I offer all my puppies on this contract I do not require my best puppies go to breeding/show homes like some breeders. Just because you are going to have a dog as a pet does not mean it should be of lesser quality as one used for breeding and/or show.
This breed has been given a horrible reputation because so many are not truly educated about them and only see what is portrayed on television which is usually a mean, uncontrollable dog. It does not help that many people see that as how the breed should be and in turn let them act like that. The breed was originally used for herding sheep and show great patience with other animals when well socialized as puppies and raised in the right environment.
I have been rescuing, training, showing and breeding since I was a kid and am always working to further my knowledge. Being able to care for my dogs above and beyond just feeding and cleaning is rewarding and keeps all of my dogs in top condition as well as puppies being sent home with a healthy start in life.
I have been training for many years and worked with many trainers. I have found many techniques I agree with and many I do not. I work to educate my puppy buyers so they are able to bring out the best in their dog. Rottweilers need a job to do to keep them focused and when asked to work and taught correctly they strive to impress their owner. When i breed i breed to produce the large bear head and large bone everyone wants and that also agrees with the breed standard. Dogs of good health, sound mind, and strong build. Females as impressive as the males. I offer lifetime support for all of my puppies including health, nutrition and training information. I love to be involved or at least keep in touch with my puppies' new families.
